3M ™ 1267 is a 0.127 mm one-sided adhesive tape consisting of an embossed aluminum backing and an aggressive acrylic adhesive. The tape is protected by a removable liner which facilitates its transformation and die-cutting. The tips of the embossing, when pressed for gluing, pass through the adhesive making a metal-metal contact between the support and the substrate of the application. Common uses include grounding and EMI shielding in equipment, components, shield rooms, etc.
