tesa® 60400 is a bio-based packaging tape, suitable for medium-heavy packaging applications (15 - 30 kg). The material chosen for the support of this tape is polylactic acid, also known as PLA. PLA is made from 100% renewable raw materials, such as: corn starch, tapioca roots or sugar canes.
For the adhesive system, natural rubber with a natural-based resin was used.
Thanks to a careful choice of materials and an exceptional design, tesa® 60400 has a reduced carbon footprint.
