3M ™ 5745 is a 2.00 mm double-sided tape with acrylic foam tape backing, further coated on one side with adhesive acrylic and protected by a red PE film liner. Typical applications are the bonding of external components. 3M ™ 5745 guarantees good adhesion and tensile strength on many Automotive surfaces, good cohesion, excellent long-term stability as well as high conformability. Thanks to the uniqueness of the viscoelastic property of 3M ™ 5745, the tension in the bonding line of the adhesive is canceled so as to achieve lasting bonding.
