3M™ VHB™ F9460PC
3M™ VHB™ F9460PC transfer tape is an adhesive (0.05 mm - 100MP) with polythene-coated kraft paper liner (0.10 mm - 26 kg).
Designed with 3M™ 100MP 50 µm high-performance acrylic adhesive, F9460PC VHB™ transfer tape creates exceptional long-term adhesion for fast, durable results. Adhesive resistant to chemicals, UV rays and solvents.
3M™ VHB™ F9460PC Clear Transfer Tape 50µm offers a thin profile combined with our high-tack acrylic adhesive for a long-lasting bond. The tape offers excellent long-term bonding with greater bond strength than traditional PSA adhesives.
Replaces rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners for high-performance metalwork and industrial fastening.
3M™ VHB™ F9460PC is ideal for use in many interior and exterior industrial applications as a replacement for rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners.
3M™ VHB™ Transfer Tape F9460PC is a thin, double-sided adhesive tape capable of conforming to a wide variety of applications.
For adhesion, fastening, assembly, anchoring, conversion, cushioning, tightening, sealing, gluing, gripping, locking, identification, insulation, joining , labeling, laminating, marking, machining, sealing, taping, spacing, splicing, gripping, taping and much more.

-general industrial assembly
- fixing of panels, industrial and metal elements, nameplates and solar installations
These 3M™ VHB™ transfer tapes are made with the same adhesive system and are thermoplastic in nature, becoming softer as the temperature increases and stiffer as the temperature decreases. As the adhesive becomes more solid, the adhesion performance generally increases.
At low temperatures (below -40°C) 3M™ VHB™ adhesive tapes become very solid and glassy; the ability to absorb impact energy is reduced.
The bond strength depends on the amount of adhesive-to-surface contact developed.
Strong application pressure helps develop better adhesive contact and improve bond strength. To achieve optimal adhesion, the bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and well joined.
The ideal temperature range for tape application is between 21°C and 38°C.
Initial application of the tape to surfaces at temperatures below 10°C is not recommended as the adhesive becomes too solid to adhere easily. However, once applied correctly, low temperature maintenance is generally satisfactory.
