3M ™ Scotch-Weld ™ PUR TE031 Adhesive features increased structural strength and rapid settling time, producing strong bonds to a wide range of plastics without requiring drying or ventilation equipment. This extruded adhesive is applied hot using a 3M ™ Scotch-Weld ™ PUR adhesive applicator.
Reduced pretreatment time, fast adhesion and settling time.
Featuring rapid build-up of structural strength, 3M ™ Scotch-Weld ™ PUR TE031 adhesive is a one-component, wet-cured structural adhesive, offers a fast settling time (30 seconds ) and is ideal for bonding a wide range of plastics, including polystyrene and polyacrylics.
Because it is a 100% solids adhesive, our formula produces bonds with a short pretreatment time and offers high strength and long lasting adhesion without requiring drying and ventilation equipment.
Extraordinarily strong, this adhesive provides a strength of over 6 MPa. This tough adhesive with a fast handling time is characterized by high resistance to plasticizers and can be used to bond heat sensitive materials.

NOTE: Wet-cured urethane adhesives chemically bond to the surface and leave a permanent residue if not removed quickly. Once cured, the adhesive can only be removed by mechanical methods, such as grinding or sanding, which can worsen the original state of the surface as the adhesive is removed. This chemical / mechanical bond is why wet cured urethanes are among the strongest adhesives available.
